Music is bad for your health

I've got a sore knee now and can barely walk because of all the toe tapping I've been doing lately, on account of listening to classical guitar/Flamenco music. Evil music. Stop being so good.

Thats because you were doing the flamenco. Now typical teenagers (except my disfunctional friends) listen to music. Just sit on their comfy chairs, or sofas, or lie in bed and have the music blasted through the roof. Unlike me who wishes to keep my hearing, I keep it fairly moderately listening volume level.

Try playing guitar. That hurts your fingers a fair bit. (Well when you first start playing and have soft, feeble fingers)

Plus there's the cutting yourself on the sharp ends of strings. (I bet it's just me that does that)

very true, matt
i have a scar on my right thumb from all the guitar playing i did a few years back (i've all but forgotten now)

trumpet playing is sort of hard on the body too
especially when marching
it hurts the teeth to constantly have the metal mouthpiece hitting them, and when the metal gets cold, OUCH, sticking to the lips is NOT fun

Bah! The violin will give you a cramp in your wrist like you won't believe. If they ever ban cigarettes, I'm going to advocate banning music. It's far more hazardous to your health.

I'm just sitting in my chair listening to Hans Zimmer (MI:2 soundtrack) - Nyah and a couple other flamenco tracks, and couldn't stop tapping my toes to the music. Damn, my knee hurts. Honestly, I can barely walk.

No way Matt.
I've been restringing guitars for 30 years
and still stick myself with the end of a string,
every once in awhile.
I'd much rather cut my finger than stick it.
Damn that stings forever.

use music tracking

It doesn't hurt, well apart from who is listening

Cigarettes have been banned in all restaurants and such places of business in Canada. Even schools and some businesses have done the same.

"Welcome to the Island of people who know too much."..."Did you really think balloons would stop him?!"
See what I'm listening too.

Cigarettes have not been banned. Smoking has been banned. Cigarettes can still be bought freely.

Cellphones are banned while driving at my state Capital. So is drug use at all schools. No smoking around gas stations or using cellphones there while pumping gas. Isn't hazardous to your health by inhaling the fumes instead of using a cell phone?

The battery in the phone could spark, blowing you, and everyone around you, up.

Likely, but you have a greater chance of inhaling the fumes instead of blowing up. Also the car, the lights, the pump, the leds, etc that run the gas station have more vulernabilities to spark than a dingy cellphone.

Yeah eh. My throat hurts from trying to sing like a girl. No more girly singing for me. I wonder how NStink does it.

Cellphones are like mini microwaves. Try microwaving a cup of water for 30 secs in a microwave and see how hot it gets. What microwave does is excite the H-O bond in water to create heat. There are no shields to stop the radio frequency of the cellphone from reaching the fuel; those electronic devices that you mention do.

Thankfully, I don't have a pocket in Georgia.

About the banning of music: I'm a bit of an elitist, so I'd rather see all music except gangsta rap banned. Serves as a sort of natural selection to keep dumb people away from election booths, thereby improving the quality of the democratic process.

Sure, its just a handheld radio that transmits signals to a tower and reciever. It can't harm anything else in the environment.
