New to Winamp; Need Some Expert Advice
I am new to Winamp and I might be missing something. How does one record/burn CD's so that the songs can then be played in the Winamp application? I am able to do this in Music Match Jukebox, but I really like WInamp and want to make it my MP3 Player. Is this possible in Winamp?

Hey and welcome to winamp!
To burn music from your cd's and back them up on your computer use cdex. You can download it free here http://www.cdex.n3.net/ Great program, very easy to use! Please feel free to post any questions you may have! ~ Missy <randman beat me to the post>

Recommended Plug-Ins
Thank you guys for the advice. Downloaded the software and it is great. I am still learning the in and outs of winamp and I am amazed at all of the diiferent plug-ins for the application. Are there any recommendations for you expert users? Again, thanks for the CD Burner recommendation

By the way, when you take tracks from a CD and turn them into an .mp3 or .ogg file, it's called "ripping." When you take .mp3 files and record them onto a cd so that a normal cd player can read them, it's called "burning."
