Logitech Wireless Keyboard built in buttons
Greetings,
Are there plugins, or functions already built into Winamp that allow users with Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical wireless keyboards with built in buttons for multimedia such as next, back, play/pause and stop? If anybody has a keyboard like mine, or know of plugins or ways to make these darn things work let me know. Becuase that Jukebox crap they gave with the keyboard is junk, they should have included Winamp!! Thanks, Mike Dickson |

Yes !
I have a Hewlett Packard Extended Keyboard whith buttons you can configure..
does not have a function like this , but)(depending on your OS) your keyboard drivers must have it! go to control panel > keyboard > (go to the third one) (it should write logitech or Extended ??) and configure it there...........

Hey Mike, I have the same keyboard (Logitech Cordless Freedom) and it's great
![]() But... The extended keys support SUCKS big time. It has loads of bugs (Sometimes the keys don't work, The Go button is a joke), and no way to customize them through the control panel (There is some customization, but hardly any). I was actually thinking lately of writing an app (Not necessarily a Winamp plugin) that will replace iTouch's software. Maybe sometime soon ![]() Saar. |

iTouch weoks great with Winamp2
For Winamp3: How do I get my multimedia keyboard to work with Winamp3? Since all keyboards are not the same the manufacture of your keyboard must add support for Winamp3 in their drivers. if you keyboard does work with Winamp2 you can try Winamp 2.x Plugin Manager for Winamp 3 which will emulate the old Winamp2 API controls. This should work for a lot of keyboards. For Logitech users refer to this thread: Use Logitech iTouch with Winamp 3 |
