Not working...

I've checked the settings - all files and folders are write enabled, so that's not the problem... Anyway.. what such setting has to do with the play-on-startup problem ?!?!

sorry im tired(and an idiot)

it only plays winamp it really whips the llama's ass when the demo.mp3 is in the playlist

A mp3 will only play if you open it

e.g double click on it in explorer

double clicking on the winamp.exe shortcut shouldn't make winamp start playing automaticaly unless you edited the shortcut for commandline options..

try this

ctrl+p-->filetypes-->have enqueue as default checked

/me needs sleep

else

I understand but the problem is that winamp always tries to play an mp3 on startup. Here is what I did: I deleted demo.mp3 from winamp dir, erased the playlist so it was empty and closed winamp. I opened it then and there was demo.mp3 (!!!) figuring in the playlist, but of course there was no music. So it's not the file setting that is wrong - it's definitely something wrong with the program.

Playing the demo on startup? Make sure the shortcut you use to open Winamp point to Winamp.exe and not Winamp.exe followed by Demo.mp3 or anything like that.
