Animated Icon Problem

When using an icon editor, to save my animated icon i had to save it under a *.ani* extension...
...How do I change the extension from *.ani* to *.cur* without losing the animation???

Right click on it when viewing the curors in windows explorer and rename it from mycursor.ani to my cursor.cur

Make sure you have file extensions turned on in windows explorer before you do this.

View->Options in Windows Explorer (Based on the IE4 upgrade) And uncheck the box marked: Hide File Extentensions for Known Types.

By the way, they are cursors, not icons
