So what you're meaning is that you download a song, and you lose it to wherever you saved it to? Instead, why not save your download in My Documents, or on your desktop? Hint: If you're using AOL, AOL tends to screw up downloads using their program. Instead, minimize AOL when you are online, and use Internet Explorer.

It doesn't matter what you use or where you download the mp3's to on your hard drive. It could be C:\Program Files\WhateverDownloadProgram\Music\ or C:\My Music\ or C:\Whatever\Wherever\ . . . it doesn't matter.
This is the normal way of downloading music files. You don't download anything to Winamp, you just add the songs to the playlist. Winamp -> Playlist -> Add button -> Add File/s or Dir -> browse to folder -> select files or folders -> okay [edit] Doh! Oh, right . . . too late....
