Yo.

I just finished a new skin last night. I was working on it for the entire day yesterday and the day before. Painful. D:

I tried to submit it, and I'm not sure if I did or not 'cuz IE didn't load the page after I hit "submit". I wanted to get some opinions on it, so here I am.

Please excuse the pinkness of the skin. It sports a rather... girly color scheme. Most of the reds I used that matched the picture well were all a bit pink. :o I don't even like pink that much, but it works.

Comments, anyone?

The colors not really my style...but at least its not the basic skinner.exe type...i can see some work on the buttons etc..maybe next time use psp or photoshop or ms paint and make them yourself from scratch, if you can customise the buttons im sure the rest wont be too hard for you....If it hasnt been submitted yet i suggest doing that...good luck

P.s. i spent 70+ hours (a few hours a day for 3 weeks) making my last skin..so being able to finish one in a day isnt what i would consider painful...

atmo: you talk like she used a skinner. she obviously didn't. just cuz its anime doesn't mean its a skinner skin. its very apparent that nadia worked hard on this skin. while i'm not an anime fan, i really dont like the skin, but i will say that its very nicely done. good work nadia, or should i say my goddess?

I don't personally like it, but it is very good work. You put a lot of time into this one. 70+, whoo!

Only negative aspect, is that the PL seems out of place because it's a different general colour. That's only because that's how much the pic covered, right?

I see what you mean blackdog....i should have chosen my words a bit better, i didnt mean to sound like i was saying it was just a skinner.exe skin...what i meant was that the play buttons etc look a bit plain and like a modified skinner.exe skin and that with some custom buttons like the ones in the shapes thing in psp it might look a bit better...but thats just a personal opinion....and i did say that is wasnt the basic skinner.exe type (that was meant to be a compliment)...i can see that there was a lot of effort put into this...

Umm, I'm with BD - it looks pretty basic at first glance. I can see where you've put some work into it though - I really like the PL titlebar, of all things.

It will help your overall 'first impression' if you can get rid of the boxy components. The playlist stacks really stand out, and look kind of nasty on this skin, what if you got rid of the boxes and just had words? The same thing sort of goes for your posbar slider - I think I'd rather see a simple rectangle with a 1 pixel border than that great glaring box.

So overall, it's good but to blurry (a bit like looking at a painting from a distance on a very foggy morning)

Sweet... a bit basic, but sweet

Two things you should change IMHO (no offense):
Playlist: bar for the scroll slider -make it a thin line like the posbar
playlist: these playlist buttons don't seem to match the rest of the skin...
EQ: don't like the red bars below the eq sliders..
EQ: get rid of these lines in the Background of the EQ spline...

The rest is nice and don't worry about the blur...

I ment it more as a warning ....actually. Since in some skins the blurr-button is pushed a bit to often. Take this one for example (my first and worst)

I definetly don't dig Animé/Manga - and even less the skins made of that theme, cause they're just TOO common and you can't really make a detailed/original skin when using background-pictures like that.

I also agree with the previous replier that it's too blurry

BUT, however, I must give you well deserved credit for using Photoshop instead of a skinner-program
