Hey all, its me again

Hey I tried using the tutorial on the site, but i still keep messin' up.If anyone would be willing to walk this blind soul through the process of making a skin I would be entirely in your debt.

open up a image editing program...
unzip default.zip
edit files
zip files(rename extension to wsz)
publish skin @ winamp.com

the tutorial is much more in depth than I can type in an entire day...

how about asking about the bits that you don't understand

ok thanks, now, how do I put pictures (bmp or jpeg) onto the areas

The best thing you can do to start is to take a simple skin, like the base skin, unzip it, and start playing around with it. Experiment; see what this and that does. Change things, look at the effect it has. Learn the skin first, and then learn how to skin.
