its a file icon...thats all...

as long as I remember..its a waste of space on your hard disk

don't install it if you don't want to...it won't make a difference to the winamp installation

Sounds like he/she's already installed it...
If so, you could've unchecked the option in the wa2 setup installation.

Just delete it, you don't need it.
I think its main purpose is to get new customers for aol?
They must be desperate or something
Or maybe it's just aol's twisted way of saying "hey, we own Nullsoft now".

If you can't just delete it, then use TweakUI to remove it from the desktop.

Hey, I've only just seen the thread in Gen Dis about 2.79 being released!
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=80044

Downloading now!

I wonder why it's called "noaod" ?
Shouldn't it be "noaol" ?

Anyway . . . we're still gonna have to install Peter's wa2update after upgrading to 2.79 (and we're still gonna have to tell everyone else to do likewise), because it overwrites Peter's awesome XFading out_ds.dll with the cruddy old Nullsoft version . . . I'm not sure what else it overwrites yet either, or whether there's newer versions of peter's plugins available than the ones in 2.79

This always happens to Peter when there's a new wa2 release...

Aah well, we shall see . . . installing now . . . ooh wheeee

Yeah, I noticed it did that. Oh well, it's still an update, so we shouldn't complain
