Looking for info on a portable MP3 player

Heya,
I'm turning to all you geek gear guru's out there to help me find a kickin CD/MP3 player. I've got a Genica Mali now that's crappin out on me and I'm looking to upgrade. Here's what I'm looking for:
  • Supports audio CD's as well as burned MP3 CD's
  • Supports 700mb CD-R's
  • Supports ID3 tags
  • About the size of a standard portable CD player
  • AC adapter is a must

Any help is most appreciated!

Thanks for the tips...

I checked out Cnet on the sp250 and also found some great info on digitalreviewers.com about both the sp250 and the SlimX.

Sounds like a lot of people were concerned that the sp250 skips a lot...of course these are the people who go jogging with a cd player lol I'm wondering if people are actually turning on the higher anti-skip buffer. From what some people said, it sounds like a feature thats off by default. Can anyone who has one clarify that?

The SlimX looks seriously tight...only thing I'm worried about is all the display and controls and all are on the remote. If you lose or break that, your screwed. I don't have any idea how much they cost to replace...but I'm thinking at least $25-30. I'd feel better about having a little more heft to the player and have all my controls on board.

BTW, I love the idea of an FM tuner along with a CD/MP3 player...somebody's been thinking
