Getting message about downloading
I've had winamp for years and this is the first time I have gotten any problems. When I go to tune in to a station on shoutcast I get the message " You have chosen to download a file from this location". That has never come up until a few days ago. Is there something I need to do??? I love winamp and I want to keep using it.
I use win2000 Proff. Thanks for any suggestions.

Press Open file from Location
It'll download and automatically open your Winamp for you to listen to that specific shoutcast station. |

And uncheck the option to "always ask before opening this type of file".
Or manually disable it c/o Windows Folder Options -> File Types tab PLS (Winamp Playlist File) -> Edit/Advanced button (depending on Windows OS) -> Uncheck: confirm open after download. If the problem persists, eg. "always ask..." is greyed out & can't be unchecked: IE5.5+ .pls bug http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=75657 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=37053 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=37700 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=74434 |
