No viewer available
I am having trouble downloading winamp. I have read some previous solutions to similar problems but am totally confused.
If you have not yet guessed I am a newbie and I need straight forward step by step answers. My problem is that I keep getting the error message "no viewer available for the type of object you are trying to open". I am trying to load the pc version on a pc. Can someone please help me! |

I'll assume you're using internet explorer since you didnt specify
right click this link http://download.nullsoft.com/winamp/...mp279_full.exe pick "save target as" from the menu that pops out a box will pop up asking you to rename the file and a location to save it to. DONT rename it, but pick a spot to save it to and remember it. after it's done downloading go to the spot you saved it and double click it. if this dosent work just say what happened and we can go from there. |

It doesn't matter what you rename it, the only specific this is that it has the .exe extension in order for it to open up.
Heres some more info here if you are using Internet Explorer. http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....trying+to+open |
