vids:mp42 Decompressor?

When i try to play an AVI file i get "could not find vids:mp42 decompressor"? Is there a plug-in or something I can get or should I wait for another version of winamp? I'm using 2.79.
Thanx

Winamp 2.79 only plays audio files. You can find a plugin that can play video files, in which case .avi files, by going to http://www.winamp.com/plugins/
