So what if this thread doesn't have a point, thats why the General Discussion forum exists. I mean most of the stuff in here is pointless and has absolutely nothing to do with Winamp.

I believe that's why they call it a General Discussion Forum, hence the General part, meaning anything. Also, people just hate pointless threads in general because of their lack of topic.

Where has that pointless stamp gone off too?

Speaking of pointless threads: has anyone ever been to the Black Isle forums. I used to browse there a lot for help when I was playing Baldur's Gate 2. Besides the regular game boards Black Isle has a board called "Way Way Off Topic" where anything goes short of advertising. One thread was called "Spam Train" and went on for pages and pages of people just posting the word spam in different ways. After I finished BG2 I hung out there for a while but got bored quickly because of the lack of interesting topics.

I see no point in spamming forums! Im not sure about you but i'd hate to stay on a boring old spamming forum for a few hours! Anyway, you got the right idea - leave their lame forums and stay with Winamp!
