one ore note about the eq - the form of the sliders is ok; but i think that it looks a bit too flat n the top border (where the eq vis is)... it doesn't look 3d there imho
maybe i'm crazy..

The skin love webring

I like the general feel of the skin but I don't like the cracks, think they look a bit iffy, a bit unnatural

LOL..

Might be a bit hard to make it look like that without making it look messy....

I think it looks ok as it is now, but i agree with nini about the top of the eq.

well um that was the sort of thing i was hinting at lol

if you've read the books or even seen the series that was made from them then you'd know it was all messy in the galaxy.
well anywhere a hitchhiker would go anyways

The books are great. I read them back to back in like one crazy month

What I meant was the rock above and the below the shuf/rep has straight cracks and they look uhh weird but not cool weird - weird weird (double weird = normal? )

Otherwise it's coool... and weird.

Um...
Hitchhickers guide, Restauraunt at the end of the universe, life, universe, and everything, So long, thanks for all the fish, mostly harmless...

I thought there were only five books in the trilogy. Spectrus, can you enlighten me as to what the sixth is, so I can go and get it? (Need more names for my computers - they are named after characters in the guide)

By the way, Supey, those straight cracks at the bottom of the main window do look funny. any chance of removing or randomising them? (or, are you working on that already?)

I think I found it myself: Young Zaphod.
Chapters.ca doesn't seem to have it.

yes, it's Young Zaphod Plays It Safe. it's really just a short story, not really a book.

I have them all in one big, leatherbound book with gold page end thingies so iit shines when it's closed and one of those nifty built in bookmark thingies. people often think it looks like a Bible, altho I don't think a Bible would have those smilies all over it

btw, the blue does have stuff splattered on it zoom in

I won't have a chance to work on it till Monday, I'm going to FL again...lwoohoo, Disneyworld!

just in case anyone has been wondering, DisneyWorld was nice

I've been swamped with school work lately, so I havent' been able to do much skinning.

today I managed to finish the design of the PL...
the tiled sections don't have cracks on them yet because I don't know where they'll be going atm

suggestions and what-not welcome

Then it is a trilogy of trilogies, or a tritrilogy... That remind me of my times in primary school, the sports teacher used to say: "pair yourselves in groups of three" (it loses quite a lot in the translation)

Star Wars is a Saga,

they started with the 3th book because that was the most interesting one, and the one that could stand alone.

star wars are actually two trilogies if you're talking movies, and a series if you talking books. maybe the books started out as a trilogy but they're far from that now

besides Lord of the rings is a trilogy, and that's actually really 6 books isn't it?

Tolkien alway's said it are 6-books (+1 appendix) so It never was a trilogy. Tolkien also alway's said it wasn't a trilogy

It is called a trilogy, but it isn't. Not because there are 6 books, but because it is the same story, and not three different and connected stories. It is only a trilogy in the sense that it was originally published in three different volumes.
