Windows XP bug

I will make one more reference to the WinXP bug about the sudden shutdowns that take place when opening or enqueueing files.

This IS a WinAmp bug. End of story. I verified it myself in a total of 3 different systems. My own, my best friend's and a PC at university. This bug is not caused by a virus, buggy drivers or 3rd party software. We're talking about three up-to-date, virus free, PC's with no apparent problems in anything else.

What I'm worried about is that WinAmp programmers seem to not give this bug its proper importance. We're talking about a serious bug that will probably prevent a great number of Windows XP users from using Winamp. You know, we're talking about the OS that by itself tries to provide you enough MP3 support that you won't need WinAmp anyway. And the first OS after a long time that will be installed in ALL PC's (home users AND business). WinAmp people must definitely do their best to make WinAmp fully XP compatible.

Infact, if you consider the fact that this bug is not present in version 2.75 or earlier, this MUST mean that this bug can be traced.

Yeah I admit it, this thing pisses me off. But what I'd hate most is see WinAmp lose to Media Player like Netscape lost to IE. This MUST NOT happen. So make WinAmp XP compatible NOW. Please...
