static with xp

love winamp, everything else blows!
Just installed xp and am getting a bit of static while scrolling
if someone could give me a tip would be much appreciated
And I mean everything else REALLY does blow

Go to Internet Options in the IE Browser (Tools>Internet Options) and disable "Use smooth scrolling".

I did what you said, but it doesn't change anything.

I've got the same problem too...
I start winamp, and I don't hear a sound...

When I go to the volume controle, I see that the sound is not on... I put it on and it works

But! When I forward to the next song, the sound is off again and I have to go back all the way to the volume control...

Can somebody help me plz!

No, you don't have the same problem...
Try turning the volume slider up in Winamp's main window.
