This is true. But did anyone else notice that when the droid army takes her into custody Queen Amidala is sporting a completely different outfit and elaborate hairstyle than she had when the siege began? How are we supposed to like a Queen who must have said something like, "My city is under attack. My people are dying. Please summon my hairdresser and maid-servants."

As for Amidala's wardrobe and make-up, and the bad, bad flat voice, it all seemed like a thinly veiled way of covering up the fact that Amidala and Padme were one and the same. Even if you didn't already know that Natalie Portman was playing the Queen it was pretty obvious. Also, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon didn't know?!? What kind of fucking Jedis are these guys? Yoda should have hit them with randman's cane.

The art direction of the whole city on the queens planet ... and the interiors... was some of the best I've seen in quite some time.

The design of the futuristic council chamber is also quite original. I'm glad I will be able to see more of it in the next movie.

As an American, I am obligated to see Star Wars II At least there is a level of enjoyment for me... the plot is really just a distraction.
I wasn't really talking about the costumes. (though the costumes in the first movies were fairly crappy) I was saying that it's an extremely poorly disguised B-movie. Plot = shite; (some) acting = shite; moral play = shite

On the game topic I cant belive there are people who play lucas arts games. I have never seen a good lucas arts game. I truly belive that they are incapable of making a good game
Can you name any company that has made a truly, really, unputdownable for years game?

And i agree with whoever said it, he must not own Jedi Knight 2.

Hey randman, on your new avatar it says, "Picture of rm'". Do you mean yourself or radioactive man? (/me starts rumor that rm' is randman's conservative alter ego).

Heh. I was hoping to create more pandemonium when I changed avatar's. My new avatar is simply a play on Radioactive Man's avatar. His says "Picture of ME". As you said in another thread, I'm "nuts, en-ve-te-es, nuts".

Randy= randman
Arin= rm' (Radioactive Man)
