fragment of time you'd like to last for an eternity
I've been thinking alot recently about my past, and about what made it so much better then the present, and there's always one moment that i keep coming back to.
My girlfriend and i were on a canoing trip for 6weeks or so, and on one particualarly memorable evening, we had a campsite up high on a rock point overlooking the lake. And this particular night my girlfriend had fallen asleep in my arms (well, sorta, her head was on my sholder, and my arm around her sholders, and she was sleeping), we were stiining on a large log in front of a somewhat medium sized fire, with my 2yo black lab curled up at my feet, and the canoe fliped upside down on the edge of the point, with the suset over the lake behind it. The sounds of the water lapping at the rock almost timed with the sounds of my girl friends breathing (in my mind anyway).. hmm.. those were the good ol days anyway. What moments of your life would you like to live in forever? |

hmmm, i'm really not sure
one which really sticks in my mind is this walking down a street at about midnight, late last summer it's slightly foggy, so the streetlights are little more than haloes in the air there is a warm, moist breeze blowing in i'm walking down the street w/ a good friend of mine she has her arm through mine, her head resting on my shoulder we are talking quietly as we walk, about nothing in particular this would have been fine and dandy, but then, we get on the bus, who should be there but a friend of her's we start talking, and after this girl gets off the bus i forget about it then in september, i go into my class on the first day, and who should be there but this girl i finally months later got up the nerve to ask this girl out, and have been w/ her for two months so i'd have to say that that night last summer was my most memorable moment, not only for the utter beauty of the night, but for who i met that night, as well |

that's just.... mean.
unfortunately, there isn't one moment that stands out. i really enjoyed the evening i spent with two female friends of mine. we drove up the mountain and looked over the city... and got harrased by drunk college guys. it was a bit odd. but quite fun. no, wait, i remember. the night i went to give ruth her christmas present. we went out to dinner. it was great. some of the best food i've had. we plan to open a restaurant when we're out of college. despite the fact that she's a voice major, and i hope to become a composition major... -A PhotoFx -[=]-"Visual forms are not inherent in themselves, but are granted by the act of seeing..." -Trevor Goodchild |

Hmm, a moment to last forever:
Beau and I, staying overnight in the Chicago Hilton & Towers, on the 24th floor, looking out over Grant Park, and watching the sunrise over Lake Michigan on a cloudless day. That was great. It was also nice the night before, having dinner at the Signature Room (which is on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building), watching fireworks go off over Navy Pier. That was beautiful too.
