1st post/thread in the forums=plug
Enough to make me scream useless, 'specially after all the other cumquats who showed up here to plug something then never returned. Reminds me of some of the grotesque beasts I've woken up with. I was only there to plug them and never showed up again

Trust me, I've had mornings when I could have shot myself where I lay for being so blind the night before. Then if you do make it out the front door, you have to pull your coat over your head like you're in FBI custody to keep the neighbors from knowing your identity

Speakin' of phones... You guys are gonna love this one.

Friday, we were just finishing up our latest pipe project. It was a 250-foot run of 30" PVC drainage pipe across the street from the local hospital. After we put the last piece of pipe in the ground, I took a break to get some water to cool off. About a hour after that, it was lunch time, so I decided to walk to the fast food joint down the street for a burger. When I walked in the door, I noticed I didn't have my cell phone on my belt. I thought to myself "shit." I backtracked my steps all the way back to the site only to confirm my fear... My phone got buried under five tons of dirt.

The saleswoman at the cell phone store looked at me funny when I told her what happened yesterday when I got my new phone. Shit happens, I guess.

Ive lost 3 cell phones, one on a taxi, one on a plane, and one was motorola. Nokia phones are like tanks, and my 3360 treats me well.

Sympathy, prayer... Crew of the space Shuttle Columbia, do i need to say more?

I had a 5165 before it got buried. I loved that phone. At least now I've got a brand new 5165 to keep the faith. I love Nokia phones. I can't tell you how many times I slammed, dropped, smashed, etc. my old phone, and it never missed a beat. And what's the very first thing I do with my new phone when I walk out of the store with it yesterday? Drop the damn thing right on the concrete sidewalk. It didn't have a scratch on it when I picked it up, though.

Somewhere deep in the depths Purdue University, my old Marketing Prof has a cell phone from the mid-80s. It weighed 7 or 8 pound, I believe, and was roughly the size of a box of legal-sized envelopes.

I hear the Israelis have a box that will jam cell phones - I'd sure love to have one of those, especially when I see a woman at a restaurant with her two kids talking on her cell phone throughout the entire meal (true story) or when I almost get run off the road by some idiot on a phone (I'm sure this has happened to all of you). They are convenient for sure, but they sure help rudeness-prone people to be even ruder, and bad drivers to become dangerous.
