Custom Titles For Mods
I've noticed that not all the Mods have the word "moderator" in their title. I don't know if this has been discussed before, and I already know who most of the mods are here, but it would be helpful to some of the new kids. This way when a mod makes a suggestion to someone in a thread it has some weight to it.

I agree, for what my opinion's worth. Take note new peeps, I am NOT a mod. I have a custom title only because I came in third in a "Member Of The Month" contest. We don't have those anymore because they tend to turn all political and ugly.

My title is something I figured I earned for my dedicated service and undying diligence as a moderator. Now that I'm retired from moderation, I no longer need the "Moderator" attachment.

I wasn't referring to you, Chev. I knew you had retired. Some active mods don't have "moderator" in their title.

Don't make fun of AOL discs. There one of the few sources of non-radioactive landfill for trailer parks across America.

Or work the "moderator" cleverly into the sig - i.e. Gatorade-r. God-erator, Marquis de Saderator...

I agree with nem, with the exception of xerxes and mr jones..Their titles explain it all so theres no need for them to have moderator under their title.
It would just make things easier to understand for people new to the forums. |

Well, IMHO, there should be a way to earn a member title. If that was so, then my title would be: Resident Redneck
