Statusimage on my page

Hello, i have a small question, i want to have a small image on my site where you can see if my shoutcastserver is online or offline, i've tried a php script but i'm a newbie at php so i didn't got it fixed please help.

I've tried to work with that PHP script but I didn't got it working. Is there not another sript no PHP that checks if my server is online or not? My ISP doesn't support php scripts.
