[yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave invalid id
when i try to make our server public i get one of the following error messages with the last one being the commonest
[yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave invalid id [yp_add] error connecting to yp.shoutcast.com [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error () I've read the technical support post on the third error, but it doesn't seem to help! We are behind a firewall and using xp, but the xp firewall (useless as it is) is off, and ports 80, 8000 and 8001 are all open inbound and outbound. I can surf the web, and people on the otherside of the firewall can access the server and are listening, but i can't get the server made public. cheers cyborgxs |

the only advice I can give is to stay off the list for 3 days, there might be some cache on the yp that is making the yp believe your server is a relay of another connection. I have had a similar problem in the past.
