this has been asked lots of times... just search the forums...

Windows recognisez the .zip extention so its not displayed, so your file is renamed to 'skin.zip.wsz' but its stil a zip file.
When you sip up your skin with winzip or other, name your archive 'skin.ws' or any other fake extention will work. Since windows doesnt recognize it, when you go to rename, you take out the '.ws' and replace it with '.wsz' and a winamp icon should pop up... next time search

The icon would change from the winzip to the winamp icon.

My WinZip only allows me to create archives with valid extensions so .ws is out of the question...

if it shows the file extensions in the name in the folder, all you should have to do is right-click, select rename, delete the .zip extension and replace it with .wsz
when you do that it will probably say something like
"If you change a filename extension, the file may become unusable.
Are you sure you want to change it?"
Basically ignor that, cuz it will be ok as long as you typed .wsz correctly, and click yes. The file's icon should change from the WinZip icon to the Winamp one.

but if it doesn't show the file extensions you have to do some other, more complicated sutff that I don't know about cuz I don't hafta do it
