still cant get outside connections on dsl
I still cant recieve connections to my computer through my dsl modem, my isp says its a software issue for which they wont help, useing the radio tool box i get the following response after setting up port forwarding in the modem control panel...
=================== 65.161.32.39:8000 is Closed Reason Given: Connection refused More about this error: This essentially means that the port is open to the internet but has no services associated with it. There is no firewall protection on this port. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my dynamic ip is allways somthing like 208.10.xxx.xxx i get an local ip of 10.0.0.x radio toolbox shows that 65.161.xx.xx i only have the ability to set a port up as tcp or udp, i dont have a both option and have to enter the port twice to have both... setting up 8000 and 8001 both ways i still get the same response from the radio tool box.... do i need to set up other ports too?
