Serious problem...can somebody plz help?

Hey all, well I have this big problem with the DSP. Ok most of the times I go and click on the DSP and it completely freezes up. My mouse stays stuck and thats it I have to turn my computer off manually becauze nothing will work once it freezes up. It happens most of the times,but when it dosn't im really lucky LOL. I mean like right now if I go and try it it will prolly freeze up. I Have:Winamp 2.80,Shoutcast DSP v1.8.2b,running the shoutcast Server,Windows 98 SE,HP 466 Mghz. Can somebody please help me? Thank You
