Hosting AND broadcasting from LAN on one computer

Hey, i came here to see if you guys could help me out a little. I'm on a 3 computer LAN and behind a router. The computer i am on now is the main computer and i can and usually run servers off of it.
And... i have a slight problem. I am hosting the DNAS server on this machine and would also like to broadcast on this machine as well.
Here's what i do:
1. I start the shoutcast server.
2. I open winamp and load the shoutcast plug in and connect to the server using the address 127.0.0.1 (localhost)
3. The server responds with
<08/03/02@16:44:32> [dest: 205.188.234.73] starting stream (UID: 7)[L: 1]{A: SHOUTcast Directory Tester}(P: 0)
<08/03/02@16:44:32> [dest: 205.188.234.73] connection closed (0 seconds) (UID: 7)[L: 0]{Bytes: 8192}(P: 0)
<08/03/02@16:44:33> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com added me successfully

4. My shoutcast plugin reads that i am connected to the server and inputing music. So, i call up one of my friends and ask him to try and connect to my server. I give him the appropriot http://(my actual IP here. This is not the LAN IP, nor localhost)

5. They cannot connect... and i am left to post here...

Anyway, i hope you guys will be able to help me out. Thanks in advance.

Dear Mr Crossfire Curt

I'm no big expert but it seems to me that all is well. This is because it comes back that you are added to the shoutcast directory.
This means that the system can see you from the net etc.

Are you sure you gave your mate the right ip? I guess there could be a firewall but this would normally show an error too.

My suggestion is to send your mate to the directory next time you try to get him to listen. It will have the right ip (the one it sees)

hope it helps
