Interesting texture, i really like the shapes for the vol and bal area. The cbuttons are kinda freaky though, but very original.
I think the skin needs some sort of shadowing to give it a slightly 3d look, its just too flat at the moment. Playpaus should be easy, just draw some weird shapes that fit in with the rest of the skin. The same thing goes for the posbar. |

A simple shadow would be just a 1px dark border (on the left bottom edges for example) to give a slight 3d look. Of course it would be easier if you had psp or something that can do more realistic looking shadows.

Actually, you can easily crop in MSPaint. Just go to Image/Attributes, and change the height (or width).
The shadows will be a bit harder on the background, since you can't mess with the opacity in Paint - you might just have to painstakingly add different shades of gray on 2 edges like Atmo suggested. |

Again, thanks will go to sHoTTiE for posting a .png pic, but still, as a fellow MSPain(in the ass)t skinner, I have to say that that skin will be very good if you crop the posbar slider and shit like that. Maybe you couse use a transparency for the posbar slider so you don't have to crop the image any. You could turn the slider into just about anything, as I have noticed.
Thanks go to simon snowflake for the phrase I used, and also...oh, hell, I forgot. <--4:08 P.M. EST [edit at four-twentysomething P.M. EST]I remember now...brado, Is that part in your sig from Forgotten by Linkin Park?[/edit] Last edited by Saotome 2.0; 6th August 2002 at 20:26. |
