Only "Wave In" available in the Record Controls

I am using the Plantronics DSP-300 Headset ( digital / usb ) and I have the problem that i only have the slider for "Wave In" when I open Volume Control -> Options -> Properties -> Recording. It worked perfectly prior to installing the DSP-300, but the problem now is that I can't send music to the server when I use Soundcard Input.

The only way of being able to speak and send music would be having to switch between Winamp and Soundcard Input all the time, but that would go at the expense of almost all the fun because I can't use any fading effects, background music and so on.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
