how/when does my station apper in the shoutcast stats

All you need to have, is to keep your station description the same, don't change it.

If you notice, anytime you re-start your server, the UID starts from 1. It does not continue from the last UID count. Perhaps the stats at shoutcast keeps a different counter. If that is true then my station shoud be listed by now. I keep my own counter, which does not reset when my server gets re-started.

Yes I have made some changes to the description - such as expanding the genre to make it more general. I have cable and also broadcast 24/7 .. so perhaps the only reason I can attribute to my not being lised on the stats page is the changes to my station description. I will take your advice on that and make no changes for a while and see what happes.
