Computer --> Television?
My friend sent me a video on tape that clearly showed it was from his computer, and I want to know how he did it. I can't ask him, because well.. does anybody know how to record your PC screen onto your Vcr? Can you hook it into your tv? Cause i'm thinking PC game on my big t.v.! And what special computer slots (eg. USB) do you need for this cord (whatever the cord is). I don't know how to do this at all, please help me

I think you can buy adapters too.

the only thing i found hooking my computer to my tv was usefull for was for playing vids off my computer. Some games look good, some dont (especially if they have text). But videos do look much better on the tv then they do on my monitor.

Even the lowest of low rent vid cards come with a tv out (usually svideo) nowdays, all you need is an adapter to an av style plug to go straight into your vcr or tv.
For mpeg1 movies tv out is great, but for dvd's i still think a proper player works better, but most dvd players play vcd's anyway. Quote:

UNLESS your tv is an HDTV, then you will have a beautiful setup
