how does the id # affect "most recent"

how does the id # affect "most recent" catagory?
I just got my skin uploaded yesterday but i can't find it on the most recent, even at 750 of 1000 i wasn't there?
did you guys actualy u/l over 750 skins in one day?
i ask this b/c i found that my id # was very low compared to the rest of the new skins, where most new one where in the 14000 range mine was in the 12000 range.
could this have cuased my skin to be put so far back in the list it did not show up?
any ways i don't want to sound like a whiny baby but could it be possible to shove me back into the most recent list. it would be most appreciated seeing how my skin is getting zeroo coverage and is sinking fast.
the skins id is <112979> and the name is "The Furnace"

The backlog may be down to only two weeks, but still, there are a lot of skins out every day.

IIRC skins are sorted acordng to the rating and then the cid number. I dont know if this applies to the most recent category but all you ever find there are skinner.exes.
Skins getting burried ? Happens to everyone. Its irritating but from what I hear it wont happen in the future.

don't worry about it, my first skin got totally, horribly lost. it now lingers with about 50 (miraculous) downloads at the bottom of the pile of crap that is the wa skins database. Just make another skin, get better and get more stars. repeat this process until you get it featured, get huge public ratings and millions of downloads in one day.

good, if i see a change in this god dam skiner.exe problem i'll add a "mb" webpage to my skin and resubmit it.
hopefully that will bring it back to life

Wont work unless you delete it and resubmit. But it takes about a week for the name of the skin to clear...So the edit function works better, however, since newest skins is sorted by cid, if you edit it wont be anywhere getting into the newest skins category.

Might be best to make a whole heap of changes and resubmit using the edit function, look at the parts of your skin that might not quite fit, or buttons that are unlabelled etc.. Then you might get a higer staff rating. Doing the mbinner wont affect your staff rating, as it will only work if the person has mikroamp installed.

i cant say there is a problem with staff rating,
4.5 through all catagories,
it just wont be getting much better than that.
thats the shame, the skin in my opinion is quite good, just totaly lost in the arcive.
