Youre kidding right??

I dont see much similarity at all...Apart from the fact that neither author used bevell/emboss filters, making that skin is more original than 90% of the database at winamp.com anyway.

I think there are similarities... especially the main titlebar but by heck, there's hella skins so it's un petit peu difficile to be original.

zkreso at breed agrees with me, said he didnt want to deny him a release for a skin so he let him put it up, so im not the only one who notices a huge similarity

Who made that skin? Uriel?

It doesn't look like his previous works at all, but if he made that, I honestly think he copied (well, copied the idea) from Sixgun. Look at the EQ diagram.

Uriel said he's trying a new style of skin, i bit like jasons but it's not worth judging over. u see even some of the best have to change style once in a while.

I'm totally with Blueballs on this one. I guess that Atmo was looking more at the details of the skin. If you look at the details, indeed everything is different (except those wire rings). But the fact remains that the overall look of the skin is strikingly similar. The craftsmanship may be different, but the styles are almost identical.

All very good skins (obviously), but I didn't like these as much as the ones in #18. I still haven't made up my mind about the whale skin though, which is a good thing - at least it's stimulating something. The other ones are just same old same old...

/////Cleanup! You're right! That is really dodgy! This guy just doesn't know how to use his own ideas. That EQ section is totally ripped from yours. So he slightly changed the formation of the hexagons - big deal. If I were you, I'd mouth off to him, or to breed, or both - you can't do that shit without permission.

Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny.

Even though those skins have similarities to make one think the one was inspired by the other, it is significantly different enough to be published, unless the author of the first skin puts in a rip report himself.

doughboy at your service... I'll just tell you how things work in breed, we have an art, music and skin division, and the whole artgroup releases their stuff in a pack every month. members are usually invited by the division heads.

same in artex only we dont have a music division, we arent allowed to show the public our work in progress until it is released, we have a release every month and I think right now because artex doesn't have to many members, at the moment every member is asked to make something, or as many things as u can in a month.

its fun
