I can't damn load any skins! Please help!

I love the new WA3, but what good is it if I can't load new skins that I've dled? I was using the beta version, and it worked just fine, and.......now since there's more WA3 skins, I'm even more excited, but can't load the fucking shits! Ok, here's the bitch error I keep getting right after I dl a damn skin for WA3: "The skin you're trying to load doesn't seem to be a supported skin by Winamp3" Dudes, please help me with this.......I really like the WA3 skins. Thanks

The skins designed for the betas does not work with newer releases. So download skins designed for the final build from winamp.com ( http://www.winamp.com/skins ). Maybe now you could find skins for the final on other pages too, but I'm not sure.

No dude, I actually have gotten skins for the final build. I've dled the newest skins, even the ones that are advertised for WA3 in the Winamp skins webpage. I hope I find help for this matter, it sounds complicated.

Ok, try this:

Step 1: Un-install any previous version of wa3. Delete the folder and even the registry [be carefull, only the wa3 registry keys]. Restart you rcomputer. Now update all your drivers for your video and audio card. Update all your encoders, that includes DivX. Now restart once more after updating all this stuff. NOW try installing wa3 final.

Step 2: Download the wa3 skins that you want from HERE. Where it says "Download" Right-click and Save Target As. This means that your saving the .wal file. Save the target into the winamp3 skins folder [Winamp3\Skins]. Now load wa3, now try switching skins.

I know it's long, but this should DEFFINATELY work. Just be careful when deleting the registry keys for wa3.

Give me your comp specs. Including video card, sounds card, CPU, OS, etc...

All your comp info, then I can tell you how to do the update part.

Lol. Sorry to say that the problem happened all over a fucking gain! Dammit man, I'm sick of this shit!
My OS is WindowsME, I got a Pentium3 750mgz, somewhere around there. What else you got to know again to tell me how to update?

GO to the website of the make of your video and audio card. Find you version of your cards and grab the latest drivers and install them. That's how you update your drivers. And go to http://www.divx.com/divx. And install DivX. If you don't unsertsand all this give me your version and make of your audio and video card. It shouldn't be that difficult though.

I'm having the same problems. I followed your advice and cleared everything, but the thing is, it was working fine about 10 minutes ago, then I downloaded that yaxay3 skin, and some random error came up. I fixed that, but no skins work now. it gives me the same messege: The skin you are using does not seem to be made for Winamp 3. Any new information about this would be helpful...

Yeah, I know, the same thing happens. I dl some new skins...........then the error comes up, then like a day or 2 after I dled the new skins, the skins start to work.........all of them! Then I dl some new ones, then the same cycle starts all over again. I wish I could stop this from happening and find a solution fast. Any help would be helpful. Thnx.
