Crop Cirlcles !!!!?

I know that most of you don't really care about this, but I thought it was cool, and no i'm not talking about crop circles that those people made in the fields, I am talking about the "crop cicle" I made in Photoshop. Check it out, it's pretty cool.

I learned how to do it off of a program on Tech t.v. I was watching..

did you know that back in the 1800's there where small crop circles sited in fields.i was reading about indians and such in an old book i found.i guess back then heards of buffalo would lie in the fields for safety and they would make perfect circles in the grass.the people who owned the fields thought they were indians camping in thier fields(because of the round teepees)and would hunt down the indians.

I don't think aliens make these crop circles, it's just people that create cool designs than go f--k up someone's field lol

(Oh, but they are smart, after all, those real crop circles are well made)

If you have Photoshop (or don't {kaz ahem cough}) and want to try to make a pic like this, go to this site - Tech Tv - or just follow this..

Instructions

The crop circle can be any shape you imagine. To demonstrate this point on the show I used text as my shape.

The layer of text was rasterized (click on the Layer menu, point to Rasterize, then select Type) to turn it into pixels that can be distorted.

Using the Distort tool, the layer to be the crop circle is distorted to match the perspective of the scene.

The contents of the layer are made into a selection (Command-click on Mac or Control-click on a PC over the layer in the layer's palette).

The selection is saved to an alpha channel (Select > Save Selection). It will name it Alpha 1. You can name it, but for the sake of this tutorial, let it be.

Duplicate the alpha channel in the channel's palette. It becomes Alpha 1 copy.

Turn the eye icon on for both alpha channels.

Make the channel Alpha 1 copy the active one and with the Move tool, lower it slightly to create an overlap between the two channels.

In the Calculations function (Image > Calculations), choose Alpha 1 copy for the Channel in Source 2.

Choose Subtract for the Blending and click OK.

Go back to the RGB composite channel.

Create a new layer above the layer with the crop circle.

Make the alpha channel a selection (Select > Load Selection). Choose Alpha 2.

Fill the selection with any color you wish.

Create another layer.

Select a square that encompasses the entire shape of the crop circle with a little extra on the sides.

Fill the selection with a color picked from the surface of the area where the crop circle appears.

Apply the Add Noise filter (Filter > Noise > Add Noise) with a high amount of at least 100.

Apply the Motion Blur filter (Filter > Blur > Motion Blur) in a vertical direction with a distance of about 30.

Make a Clipping Group between the layer with the motion blurred noise and the layer with the edge shape by Option (Alt on a PC) clicking between thee two layers in the Layer's palette.

Make the background layer that contains the wheat field active.

Select a square that encompasses the entire shape of the crop circle with a little extra on the sides.

Choose New Layer Via Copy from the Layer menu.

Move the layer in the palette so it is on top of the layer with the crop circle.

Make the layer a selection by Command (Control on a PC) clicking on it in the layer's palette.

Apply the Radial Blur filter (Filter > Blur > Radial Blur) in Spin mode with an amount of about 10.

You might want to increase the detail a bit with the Levels command (Image > Adjustments > Levels).

Like you did with the original crop circle shape, distort it so it matches the angle of the crop circle.

Make a clipping group between the layer with the radial blurred image and the layer with the layer of the crop circle shape by Option (Alt on a PC) clicking between thee two layers in the Layer's palette.

If you have trouble, go to the link and watch the clip, it will help you

Turn your popupstoppers on. Deny ActiveX controls (IE). Don't download anything if you didn't click a download button. Turn down your sound in case theres a flash porno ad.

Don't tell anyone I told you this.

Yeah. After all, it was capitalism that put a computer in virtually every house if every technologically advanced country.

i'm assuming you're being sarcastic. capitalism also turned microsoft ito a monopoly and bill gates richer than those oil guys in saudi arabia and the walton brothers and sisters.

so your beef is with monopoly then... your lifestyle would entirely be impossible without capitalism. you wouldn't be posting to right now without it.

communism has its problems, but imho there are some good things about it. i think a supermonopoly government corp. is just stupid and the worst thing about communism.

capitalism is not without its problems, too. as i said before, a company could become a monopoly and put a communist-like... uh, thing... over the market. and i think the concept of superpowers is a bit communist too.

This sentence clearly indicates you have no idea what communism actually is. I'm sure the most appealing part for you is the chic olive green jumpsuit and matching cap.

Communism in todays society is nothing more than a stupid fashion statement- anyone who says the people of China, North Korea, and Cuba live in better conditions than the US and Europe ought to be shipped there.

It's your turn to experience the legendary animosity reserved for bilbo and other forum comrades...

It's capitolism that made those others rich as well. It's capitalism that can take a poor man and turn him into a millionare.

You don't find many communists in the groups of people that actually experienced it.

Ah, but those are the only ones that don't ever truly experience the communism. I'm betting that Stalin never stood in very many bread lines.
