Default skin windowshade double-clicking
So, I'm used to having winamp in windowshade mode all the time. In order to make it bigger, I slam my mouse to the top of the monitor and double-click. The Winamp3 new default skin has a 1 pixel border all the way around it that can't be double-clicked. (If I just change my mouseing pattern to slam the mouse to the top, then go down a bit, then I could hit close, play, stop, etc.) I've switched back to the classic skin, because this was that annoying. That sucks, though, because I think the new skin is better in so many ways...I just want to get rid of that un-double-clickable 1px border...

I couldn't agree more.
This is a big usability issue, in my opinion. I've been using WinAmp in windowshade more, docked to the top of the screen as long as I can remember. Opening the player or the playlist window was easy, UI-wise. Just slam your mouse to the top of the screen (vertically), make sure that the mouse is over the right component (player or playlist windows), and double click. After a couple of times, this becomes a 0.1 second automatism. I was very surprised to find this completely broken in WinAmp 3.0. Does anyone know if this problem is known to the Nullsoft developers? PS I also wrote two posts about this issue in the "Universal Winamp3 bitchlist", page 7: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....2&pagenumber=7 |

I've added this bug to the WinAmp 3 bug database:
http://bugzilla.spinner.com:3430/show_bug.cgi?id=2078 I also found some other posts in the forums, describing this issue. I've linked these posts from the bug report in bugzilla as well. |
