Problem with the kbps
Hello
I have a small problem here when i DJ... I like to set my upload to about 64kbps, Stereo since im on dsl, and not a very good upload. However whenever I switch to soundcard to talk, it always sets the server back to 24kbps, and reconnects. Can anyone help me fix this please? I use windows xp if that makes any difference. My talk input is at 44100Khz, Stereo if you need. Thanks... Any help is appreciated. |

you are doing nothing wrong -- it is a bug within shoutcast. if you use output 2 instead, you should not have this problem.

Use encoder 2. You should not need to keep switching the Input Device though.

If your mixers are configured correctly then when you want to talk you press the Push to Talk and the music will fade out and the mic will fade in. See: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=86076 for info on it.

Is your mic USB?
What do you get if you go to the Master Volume mixer > Options > Properties > Recording? Tom |

SHOUTcast isn't setup to work with a USB mic like that (at least I don't think it is and don't have one to mess with). It would control the Master Volume Mixer and its Recording Mixer which would have no effect on your mic.
