hit the "J" and search

I loved the hitting the "J" key and finding anything i wanted in my playlist. However, it dosn't appear to work that way in 3 Unless there is something i'm unaware of witch is what I hope, because that was the most powerful search i have ever seen. I loved it. short sweet and quick. I did find the media libary window, it is cool and all but I really just want my "J" back. How can I do that?
