Re: Can I Cant Cd's To Mpegs Files?
GOOD DAY ALL!!!-----I WAS WONDERING IF I CAN CONVERT MY AUDIO CD'S TO MPEG FILES. I HAVE OVER 400 CD'S THAT I NEVER LISTEN TO ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY ARE TO TIME CONSUMING. I JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED A MPEG PLAYER AND WOULD LOVE TO LOAD SOME OF MY OWN CDS.
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE HELP, GENE

There's plenty of CD ripping programs, as they're called. A lot of people use CDEx, but if you want a fairly simple and well-known one try MusicMatch, or as mentioned, use Windows Media Player.

I agree randman (about CDEx), it is a quality program.
Still, I think for complete newbies to ripping, it *may* be slightly easier to use MusicMatch (even though you can only download a shareware version)... just IMHO though

I doesn't get easier or better than CDEx. If you can convert to ogg files if your player supports them.
