what really happens?

all this war talk has made me REALLY think, (ive thought before, just not this much). The governments obviously hide lots of information from the public, and twist the story a lot too. but how much? how much do we REALLY know about things, how much is REALLY true? how reliable are sources like the media? why are we mislead? what are tey trying to hide?

whats your opinion?

hmmm... I'm guessing Winamp3 probably has nothing to do with this. Could somebody move this to the right forum?

Done, and on the topic:

The more we know, as the public, the more the enemy (whoever it is this week) knows. I'd love to know every little thing that happens across the planet (in regards to our military), but I recognize the need to keep some information from the wrong people.

I was away for a while.
But I'm feeling much better now.

We know pretty much sod all. Everything, well the important stuff, is discussed and done behind closed doors. All the public gets is a political, often hypocritical line that the media enforces because it's easier.

Behind the scenes the US is brokering a deal with Saddam to benifit both parties by the mass sale of arms after another war which they can repeat in another 10 years after this one 'fails'. But then I am very cynical.

There is so much disinformation out there that you can't believe anything, thats why I've begun to not believe anything about religion and government. It's a lot easier that way.

That's right folks, the Illuminati is behind it all.

Truth be told, half the stuff that's hidden from you wouldn't interest you anyway.

I have no confidence in the ability or desire of the "traditional" media to fully inform the public.
Ever notice all the channels have the same news?
