I am about to write a program(VB5) to RENAME mp3 files according to the ID3 Tags of the files. (Had a HDD crash last week, all the long file names on my MP3 partition are lost!) Files like DIREST~1.mp3 DIREST~2.mp3 ... DIRES~10.mp3 are not really useable for directly selecting the files via their names... For this task, it would be VERY IMPORTANT to read the ID3 Tags... Does anyone have an WinAmp API function or a VB Class for me to get this working? Thanks in advance Mac
