call me stupid but...

can you use winamp 3 skins on winamp 2?? i'm having difficulty.. i've got the skins off teh website, put them in the skins directory, and when i go to he skin browser they dont appear! what am i doing wrong??

using winamp 2.78 or somethign like that...

i really dont feel like upgrading to winamp 3 will winamp lite comes out.. i never use any of the built in stuff in the high end versions except for the ability to play mp3's... i dislike the winamp visualisation sstudio thing...

can anyone help?

Technically it does, regions baby, regions.

However the answer to the original question is ,no WA2.x dosn't support skins for WA3, totaly different skinning engine, so they won't work.

Get WA2 skins here

still nit free form, you still use the 275x116 canvas, you still have to put the buttons on its correct spot.

(and dont say about the freaking plugin that chrashed winamp)
