11 Khz mono CODEC
Hello,
I am tryinh to start using live streaming audio using Winamp DSP 1.8.2 Everything is running fine while using 24 Kpbs 22 Khz mono. In order to limit bandwidth I would like to use 16 Kbps 11 Khz mono audio. Unfortunately I have not yet found a way to do this using the Winamp plugin. Is there a way to do this or whould I look for another decoder? I know this is pretty low bandwidth but my streams are mainly voice so it's not problem to use low bandwidth! Best regards, Wim |

hurrah hooray yippie
Okay, well, _something_ worked, and now it's working for us. Some combination of Oddcast, the "linerec://" function, and the Crossfading DirectSound output plugin. Maybe the WaveOut plugin was part of the problem. I have nothing but sympathy for anybody still working on this problem.
