why does winamp 3 change like every icon for every audio/visual file on my computer? from avi to mpg... all these things that winamp shouldnt touch it has changed
and in winamp3 is there no way anymore to change the icon for winamp or mp3 files?
where did it go?
i dont want these ugly icons

If you've associated it with those types of files, then yes it will change the icon for them.

Check which files you have associated in the user prefs, and uncheck the ones you don't need CTRL+P > Preferences > File Types

And no, you can't change the icons as yet, that option not available in this initial release..
