Multiple user accounts

Dunno if this has been suggested already but one feature I would like to see is multiple user accounts on one computer. My brother and I listens to different kind of music and we also have different taste in skins. Since he is older() I have to switch both playlist and skin every time I'm gonna use Winamp.

Not really a sensible idea in my opinion

Because all versions later than 3.1 of Windows support multiple user accounts, it wouldn't really be necessary to have that kind of option in WA3. It would make much more sense to switch to a different Windows-based user account, so that you and your brother - who obviously have different visual tastes - would be able to set your own Windows desktop themes (colours, sounds, backgrounds etc) and Winamp skins through a password-protected (encrypted) user account, which can be easily sorted out in the Windows Control Panel. And - at the risk of sounding like a Microsoft lapdog - with XP it's even easier to sort that out.

Yes windows does support multiple user accounts...but for each of the different accounts, winamp is still the same...this post still stand.

In that case, muchos aplogios. I would imagine then that the settings which decide what skins are displayed are not stored in the Windows Registry, but in a Winamp folder. If that's the case - I don't know whether it is or not - then you shouldn't have any problems, but if it's not, I understand your point.

This has (just now) been implemented for the next version. Each logged-in user can now have his own settings and DB.
