Dsp/effect Plug-ins On Win 2.81

I recently downloaded Winamp 2.81 (I've had previous versions)and
installed some DSP/Effect plug-ins like pacemaker and enhancer017.
These and all other plug-ins have no audible effect when I playback
anything, it's like the winamp is going straight out uneffected.
What should I do? Everything is installed in the right places and
comes up when activated with control p, but they don't work.

Try the updated versions on ther respective web-stires:

Pace maker
Enhancer

Also, what file formats are these? WMA won't work at all and for CD Audio you need CDReader
