Only one way to find out: close all other programs, disable your memory-resident programs like MSN and your pretty cursors, if you have a big pic as your desktop background, turn it off. And then see whether it will let you go past 103 layers.

I just checked on mine (PSP 7.04), and it only lets me go up to 100 layers (background+99). So your 103 is strange. Probably it's just time for both of us to move up to Photoshop

Darling... you can hardly complain about things running slowly with Windowblinds...

for some reason my PSP goes very slowly when I have selections made of any kind :\ but as for layers...well I can't really see needing even 100. thats like a layer for each pixel...

(exaggeration; slight)

hmm, I don't know. SHAG has got 77 layers, and I imagine that if I was using a whole lot of 3d effects/shadowing, etc. I'd need a lot more...

When I have large selections, PSP goes slowly on mine too.

if u have a large selection but dont need to see its marquee, then id hide it under the selection menu. it wont take up any cpu then.
