heh. no problems.
I'm assuming you want me to counter their views? Well, I haven't seen Signs.... but I've seen all of Shyamalan's other works. I'll wait til Xerxes pops by though... |

For some reason, when I click on the link, I don't get anything- it opens winamp with an empty playlist. My personal opinion was that "Signs" was Shymalan's best yet, but still very lacking. What I enjoyed about it was how most of the movie was confined to one setting, (the house), a tradition of the best suspense movies. Furthermore, Shymalan has an incredible sense for finding and casting child actors; while all of his movies were not to my liking, the child acting was always real good. As everyone knowns, the Sixth Sense launched that Osmont kid's career. If only Shymalan did the casting for star wars I... My personal belief is that he should get out of directing- he tries way too hard to be an Indian Subcontinent Alfred Hitchock. He should be a child casting agent. Oh, and his little personality tic of casting himself in his own movies really didn't fit for signs. In the other two movies, he gave himself minor roles. In this one, he plays a somewhat important small role- but an Indian rancher in the middle of Kansas was extremely awkward... 2 stars out of 5, primarily for the actors, not the direction. |

I gots a question:
Is the Radiomeister or X-man the counterpart of the robustly rotund Roger Ebert?

I'm lanky and not overweight, so I'm not the opposite of the dead one...
