Winamp3 doesnt have it, next release maybe.

How do I search the playlist?
Currently press the F3 key. Ctrl Up/Down selects results. Ctrl-Enter plays the track. A Winamp 2.X style Jump feature (J) will be implemented in a future release.

I sure hope it will be available in the next release.
Currently I use 2.x instead of 3.0, because the lack of this of this function in 3.0.

When you have a couple of thousands of songs on your computer, you would like to have a quick and easy way to play a desired song (aka the J-key). And I wouldn't call the media library "quick and easy".

First of all you would want basic functionality, then you can add different graphical stuff, at least that's my oppinion. So far version 3 has mostly been some GUI changes, which has caused some decrease in functionality. Put some powder into making the product work first, then create all skins (which btw use far to much CPU, in most cases).

When your playlist is highlighted, just hit F3 and it will bring up a search bar. Search for your song, and your results will show up underneath the "playlists" beside the songs. It's actually easier to use than the old "J" feature.
