Audio quality better when played in Kazaa?

After downloading Linkin Park - Forgotten (Reanimation) I have noticed that the sound quality is much better when played in Kazaa as opposed to when it is played in Winamp... Anyone know why this is? What technology Kazaa uses? How to make it sound better in winamp since i love winamp so much ?

Kazaa uses WiMP for audio and video, but with the kazaa gui. So if you use any plugins with WiMP, they'll affect the audio and video in kazaa.

u probably have some Windows Media Player plugins altering the sound. You can do similar things with the almighty Dee and the very good DFX. psst, Dee is better
